Bravo, Branson Dancers!
Branson Communications

The anticipation leading up to Branson's Annual Dance Concert: Mosaic was palpable. The concert celebrated a dynamic fusion of dance styles, with individual pieces coming together to form a vibrant and textured tapestry of movement. In response to overwhelming demand, this year's concert expanded to include a third night, testament to the excitement and enthusiasm surrounding the event. All three performances – Thursday, February 1; Friday, February 2; and Saturday, February 3 – quickly sold out.

Under the creative direction of Alex Escalante, the program showcased five original works, a collaborative effort between Escalante and the dancers. These pieces promised to push boundaries and explore new realms of artistic expression, offering audiences a glimpse into the innovative spirit of the Branson community.

The lineup for this year's concert also featured a staged rendition of the 2023 smash hit "Barbie" alongside a trio inspired by the legendary choreographer Bob Fosse. Notably, both pieces boasted the talents of three Branson vocalists, adding another layer of depth and dimension to the performances.

The concert highlighted five electrifying hip-hop pieces choreographed by Bay Area luminary Bianca Zogbi, infusing the stage with energy and excitement. Zogbi's dynamic choreography captivated audiences and left them on the edge of their seats, eager for more.
